Diane Meiburg
Diane graduated from Appalachian State University with her Bachelors in 1982 and Masters degree in Speech and Language Pathology in 1987. After graduation, Diane worked in the Asheville City School System serving K-12 children with Speech and Language Disorders. Diane moved to Cary in 1987 and served school age children in Harnett County. She completed the Carolina Summer Institute in Auditory-Verbal Therapy in 2006 and has a particular interest in working with hearing impaired children. She has attended numerous trainings in early language development, reading, visual phonics, auditory verbal therapy, and theory of mind. In addition, she has completed training with Tracy Vail in working with children with Autism and Tanya McDowell in working with children with Apraxia.
In her free time, Diane has worked as a volunteer in preschools for hearing impaired children, as a committee member for Western Wake Young Life, and has served as a volunteer in the public schools her children attended.
