Nicole has worked in a variety of settings, from private services to hospitals.  For the past two years she has been working with Tracy Vail from Let’s Talk in in-home development.  She has received training from Tracy in verbal behavior, social skills, and play skills.  Prior to working with children with autism, Nicole was a Child Care Counselor at KidsPeace National Children’s Hospital located in Orefield, PA.  Here Nicole worked with children as young as 3 and as old as 18.  These children were in crisis and had been diagnosed with a variety of mental illnesses, including ADD/ADHD, behavioral issues, bi-polar disorder, eating disorders, autism, developmental delays and many other mental illnesses.  However, Nicole chooses to work with children with autism because the greatest reward is observing their progress and knowing that "I am a part of that progress".
