Sarah Young
Sarah recently graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with her Master's Degree of Science in Speech-Language Pathology. Her studies at UNC were focused on treating children with autism and included working as an interventionst in a research study of joint attention and symbolic play skills in preschoolers on the autism spectrum and particpating in an autism research seminar. After receiveing her Bachelor's Degree in Fine Art from Appalachian State University, she spent many years working as a home therapist for children with autism. She has been exposed to a variety of different interventions including ABA, VB, TEACCH, and RDI. Sarah has experience using PROMPT strategies and has recently begun persuing her Board Certification in Behavior Analysis.
