About Let’s TalkThe fields of speech/language pathology and occupational therapy are very diverse. While we expect all licensed therapists to be qualified to treat a wide variety of disorders, it is impractical to think that any one person can keep up with the latest developments in all areas. At Let's Talk we realize the value of each therapist developing specific areas of expertise. We spend considerable time choosing therapists with a passion for one or more specific disorders.We believe that ongoing education and training are vital to insure therapists are up to date with the most current research on treatment methods. Each therapist at Let's Talk receives continuing education programs in their chosen areas of expertise at least yearly. Supervision, training and consultation by the owners is continuously available both to therapists and families of the children we serve. We know that all children are unique and at Let's Talk we work with parents to design a therapeutic program to meet each child's and each family's unique needs. We offer a wide range of services from therapy to tutoring to intensive home programs. Therapists, tutors/instructors and programming techniques are chosen based on the goals of the family and the needs of the child to insure the best possible outcomes. |
